He beat him in the budget fight and we believe he is the best candidate to beat Mark Dayton in November.”

Minnesota’s Future also released their first advertisement, “Kurt Zellers – The Conservative Tough Enough to Beat Mark Dayton“:

In the coming days, Minnesota’s Future will be launching a new website and online ads, and expect to have this ad running on TV as soon as possible.

Zellers is one of four major Republican candidates running in the Republican primary for governor. Also running are businessman Scott Honour, Hennepin County Commissioner and Republican endorsed candidate Jeff Johnson and former Representative Marty Seifert. The winner of the Republican primary will face Governor Mark Dayton in the general election.

Recently two groups have been active in promoting their preferred candidate in the Republican primary for governor. Compete Minnesota! has been formed to actively supporting the candidacy of Honour and Minnesotans for Responsible Limited Government has been formed to support Johnson.
